What are nasal polyps?
Nasal polyps are benign nodules in the mucosa. They grow in the sinuses. Paranasal sinuses are hollow cavities in the bones around the nose. A human being has four sinuses. Polyps usually grow in the cavity between the nose and eyes: the ethmoid cavity. From this cavity them drop a bit in the nose.
Nasal polyps are almost always occur on both sides simultaneously.
Nasal polyps are benign well, but you can have considerably affected. Complaints are a stuffy nose and a cold feeling. At night, these symptoms are often worse because you lies.
