Which is a lazy eye ?

A lazy eye can be done in two ways:

*Some children have from birth one eye that sees less sharp.

Glasses would help, but at such a young age do you notice yet that your child will see less. If one eye sees less sharp, the brain itself ever more at the other, good eye focus. The worse eye is becoming less used and if it were disabled. Thereby are watching your child eventually no longer with that eye. If it later gets glasses, does that help any more. The eye is then become ' lazy '.

*Squinting is another cause of a lazy eye.

As a child squint see, see the double. That double vision is tricky. The brain also solve the problem here one eye to ' disable ' and only pay attention to what the other eye sees.

Heredity may also play a role.
